Coincidental with the formation of the European Union, PromptPayPlanner^® was the first to strongly-encrypt, twice, information presented to users. Stored information is strongly encrypted at the field level, and all communications between the user and the database are strongly encrypted.

In 1995, The EU created DIRECTIVE 95/46/EC.DIRECTIVE 95/46/EC of The European Parliament and of the COUNCIL of 24 October 1995 has dictated the requirements for protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. The United States Privacy (Safe Harbor) rule is a less stringent interpretation of this directive.

Our PromptPayPlanner^® module, EU DIRECTIVE 95/46/EC, enforces strict compliance with the above directive. Simply stated, employee information mutually regarded by the organization and its employees as personal data is not stored in the database. Instead, private data, doubly-strong-encrypted, resides behind the corporate firewall. Users experience the same fast performance as before.
